You can now get push notifications when your favorite Twitter accounts tweet. Here's how to set it up.
Since Twitter updated its Android and iOS apps with a long list of new features.We have a good idea of what to expect in the update, thanks to a leak, but now we get to see how it all works.
One of the more interesting features included in the update is the ability to get notified of tweets and retweets from specific Twitter accounts. This is sure to come in handy if you have a favorite Person you don't want to miss a tweet from, or are watching a company's feed for an announcement or contest.
Step1: To turn on push notifications for an account, you'll need to navigate to the profile screen for that account.
Step2:Now Tap On the Settings Icon.
Step3:.Now Select "Turn on Notifications"
Going forward, you'll receive a push alert on your iPhone or Android device whenever that particular account tweets or retweets something.You can turn off the notifications by following the same instructions above, but selecting "Turn off notifications" instead. You can also view everyone you have turn notifications on for under Settings > Notifications.
